This page explains which personal data we process when you visit ionpower.gr or contact us, why we process it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
1. Data controller
The data controller is IonPower, 6E Paparrigopoulou St., 12132 Peristeri, Athens, Greece. Email: info [at] ionpower.gr.
2. What data we process
When you email us: your name and email address, the content of your message and anything else you choose to tell us (for example a phone number or consumption details).
The contact form on this website does not send or store any data. It opens your email program with a ready-made message, and your details reach us only if you send that email yourself.
Technical visit data: the server hosting this website automatically records in log files the IP address, date and time, the page requested and the type of browser.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and send you a quote: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
- For the security and proper operation of the website (log files): Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not make automated decisions about you.
4. Cookies and third-party services
This website uses no cookies, analytics, advertising or social media tools. Fonts are served from our own server, not by third parties.
The “Map” link opens Google Maps only if you click it. From then on, Google's privacy policy applies.
5. Who has access to the data
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. Our web and email hosting provider (TopHost) has access only as far as needed to provide its services, as a processor acting on our behalf.
6. How long we keep data
We keep emails for as long as needed to handle your enquiry. If a business relationship follows, related records are kept for as long as tax and commercial law requires. Server log files are kept for a limited period and deleted automatically.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing and to data portability, as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info [at] ionpower.gr. We will reply within one month at the latest.
If you believe that the processing of your data breaches the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (1-3 Kifisias Ave., 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr).
8. Security
The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and our mailboxes are password-protected.
9. Changes
We may update this policy, for example if we add new features to the website. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
